Imagine having a lollipop that gives you the strength of a hundred men, or a rocket-powered backpack that can send you to the Moon, or genetically altering your dog to make him talk. Johnny Test can do all of that…and more!
Johnny Test chronicles the adventures of a fearless 11-year-old boy, his genetically engineered super dog Dukey and his 13-year-old super genius scientist twin sisters, Susan and Mary, who use Johnny as their guinea pig for their out-of-this-world scientific experiments.
When it comes to adventures, Johnny and his souped-up super mutt are a team obsessed with pushing the limits – speed limits, time limits, physical limits, you name it. Johnny is the ultimate test pilot where no mission is too insane, no challenge is too great, no villain is too menacing – and no sister-created concoction is too wild. As long as his dog Dukey can come along, Johnny gives it a go!
Super-exuberant and imaginative 11-year old Johnny Test has a zest for life and an ambition just one step behind his ability. Not only does he want to drive monster trucks, hit homeruns for his baseball team and be the smartest kid in class, but he also wants to walk on the moon, breath underwater and have his own superpowers. That’s where his sisters come in. They can give him the ability to live out his dreams. All they ask in exchange is Johnny’s participation in their experiments. Johnny rarely considers the repercussions or side effects of being their guinea pig. For Johnny, it’s all about the now!
For his 11th birthday, Johnny wanted a dog, so he picked the smelliest mangiest and friendliest mutt he could find at the pound. Since Susan and Mary hate smelly mangy dogs, they decided to genetically alter the rotten pooch to better serve their needs. So now Dukey is a genetically altered canine that not only fetches you the paper but reads it to you as well. However, he’s still a dog who sometimes can’t deny his natural dog urges.
Susan & Mary Test
Super genius prodigy twins, but by no means identical. Susan and Mary are the only 13-year-olds in the doctorate program at the Porkbelly Mega Institute of Technology. Yes, they will someday win the Nobel Prize and write the unified theory of the universe, but right now they are more interested in solving the trials and tribulations of puberty through science and impressing Gil, the super cute boy next door. Be it a Time Machine, Brain Chip, Bionic Prosthetics, an advanced pill on weight loss or everlasting lip-gloss the girls always have a bribe or excuse ready for Johnny and he gives it a go.
Susan and Mary are not the only child prodigies of Porkbelly. Eugene Hamilton AKA Bling-Bling Boy is Porkbelly’s resident evil genius. He also tinkers in the sciences and attended the exclusive Mega Institute at the same time as the girls. But after an “unfortunate incident” that resulted in Professor Slopsink’s receiving a metal claw for a hand, Bling-Bling Boy was expelled. Eugene will stop at nothing to make Susan his girlfriend even if that means destroying Porkbelly to do it.
